Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using SalesOS (“the Service”), operated by SalesOS (“we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. Description of Service

SalesOS is an AI-powered sales intelligence platform that provides automated account research, opportunity scoring, and discovery findings. The Service uses artificial intelligence agents to gather and analyze publicly available information about companies and organizations.

3. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete registration information
  • Maintain the security of your password and account
  • Promptly update your information if it changes
  • Accept responsibility for all activity under your account

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Subscription Plans and Billing

The Service offers free and paid subscription plans. Paid subscriptions are billed through our payment processor, Paddle, which acts as the Merchant of Record for all transactions.

  • Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
  • Credits are allocated per billing cycle and do not roll over
  • Prices may change with 30 days' prior notice

All payments, invoicing, tax collection, and payment disputes are handled by Paddle. By subscribing, you also agree to Paddle's Terms of Service.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
  • Use automated scripts to access the Service outside of approved APIs
  • Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service without our written consent
  • Use research results to harass, defame, or harm individuals or organizations
  • Circumvent usage limits, credits, or rate limits
  • Upload malicious content, viruses, or harmful code

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, logos, and documentation, is owned by SalesOS and protected by intellectual property laws. Your subscription grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service.

Research results and findings generated by the Service for your account are yours to use for your internal business purposes. We do not claim ownership of your account data or research outputs.

7. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your data.

You retain ownership of all data you upload to the Service (e.g., account lists, CSV imports). We process this data solely to provide the Service to you.

8. AI-Generated Content

The Service uses artificial intelligence to research and analyze publicly available information. AI-generated research findings are provided for informational purposes only and should not be considered as professional advice.

  • Research results may contain inaccuracies or outdated information
  • You are responsible for verifying findings before making business decisions
  • We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of AI-generated content
  • MEDDPICC scores are algorithmic assessments, not definitive evaluations

9. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or due to circumstances beyond our control. Enterprise plans include SLA guarantees as specified in your Enterprise agreement.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SALESOS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

Our total liability for any claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SalesOS, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms, with or without notice. Upon termination:

  • Your right to use the Service ceases immediately
  • You may export your data for 30 days after termination
  • We may delete your data after the 30-day export window

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service at least 30 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
